What is a CRM, and does a small business really need one?

If enquiries ever slip through the cracks, the answer is probably yes.

A CRM is simply a single place to keep track of every lead and customer — who they are, what they asked for, and what happens next.

For small teams, the big win is automatic follow-up: a text reminder before appointments, a thank-you after, a nudge to quotes that went quiet.

You may not need enterprise software. Compare the cost of a simple system with the time it could save and the value of enquiries you currently miss; it should solve a real problem, not add another subscription.
